Evocative picture of the day / week

Think the sea is too flat for Transkei? My vote is somewhere on the southern European Atlantic coast, Portugal perhaps?
The cut grass and concrete apron also don't look African enough to me

Yep agree on further inspection! And considering a recent topic of discussion in the pub is quite likely. Either that or Kariba (I wish...)

Not bad "sleuthing" skills AP...
It is in fact LA PAZ campsite in N Spain. Vidiago - Asturias.

Found it by chance whilst looking for one last night stop-over before returning to Blighty. Stunning location, excellent hot showers and miles of empty beach. €12.00

Higly recommend it.

i love this pic.

i wonder how they got the camel in the back of the 70.

i cant imagine theyd have been able to coax him in.

im guessing his legs would have been hobbled and then theyve lifted him in, with either a lot of men or a forklift/crane

Hi Ben,

I don't know how they got him in there, though this wasn't the only camel we saw being carried this way and he seemed quite happy in there. I expect the loading technique probably involved lots of shouting and arm waving but little in the way of lifting...

All the best,
Toby

Sometime early last year on Salisbury Plain with my 4x4 club, the mud had a 'crust' on it, the 80 got through it, but when I trod on it I got stuck, it took me at least 5 mins to pull my foot out, nearly pulling my boot off in the process;

Anyone hazard a guess where this may be?
.
Well it looks like a cool place wherever it is.

However, having driven the coast road a few times from Simons Town, in the Cape Point direction, I seem to remember the sides of the road looking some thing similar.
