There are numerous posts on here with members discussing MPG figures on their trucks. Am I missing something coz I don't get the obsession.
I did some numbers so bear with me just a bit.
Assume your cruiser is your only chosen mode of transport, and you cover 12,000 miles per year. The cost of fuel per litre assume £1.50.

If your your truck did 18mpg it would cost you only £399 per year more than one that did 30mpg!
That's IF you did 12,000 per year.
Most on here do not do anywhere near 12,000 per year, but if you did and you choose to have a big diesel cruiser as your only vehicle, should you not just HTFU, bite the bullet and pay the price.
Is the search for that extra 2 or 3 MPG really that crucial.... if it is, then surely you should be driving something much more economical....and there are lots of vehicles out there that will do 45mpg+
Now you can of course tell me to

But please guys stop with the MPG woes.... or go a buy something else to drive.
