Who is doing what maintenance today?

Yeah it is, took a punt on it as I couldn't afford anything else. Hoping the "new improved" solenoid, motor and gearbox live up to the hype. I've tucked the solenoid box behind the headlight out of the worst drenching but we'll see I guess.

Got round to replacing the G clamp that was holding my winch/mount, bullbars and skidplates to the chassis rails with some propper bolts.

Rust converter on the axle cases and suspension mounts. Courtesy of the very nice people at Rejel (club discount) and Dinitrol RC800 and a paint brush. Magical stuff.

 Cheers Adrian, I think I'll have a bottle of that, not much rust needs treating so one should be enough.

You are welcome. Goggles and gloves when you paint it on - labelled as corrosive.

Carl, I can see that you are a man of taste. Or possibly someone easily pleased

It's is funny that one of the things that we nearly all do is add a snork to our vehicles and in most cases is probably the most useless thing that we;ll ever waste our money on. I don't think I have ever found water deep enough to need one. And I have had the water up my windscreen before without one fitted! You have to question why I then fitted one.

Well, they look good don't they.

Chris

I've lost count of the number of times I've been asked "Is that the exhaust"

Yep ... i can understand where you're coming from there Chris ... it maybe just me .. but i don't think that a landcruiser looks right without one.
