Hj75 trouble

I have a hj75 with 2h motor its run like a dream for a while like 100 km and then starts losing power like it is starving for fuel and then may come good or stop and I have to prime it.i have change filter checked gauze in lift pump checked fuel lines.any help much appreciated.

Check your fuel tanks for Algea. The fuel pick up maybe gradually choking but when you stop the algea drops of to float around in the fuel again. Check your fuel filter to see if it is dirty.

To test.
Change filter.
Fill new filter with seafood cleaner.
Run small jerry can with fresh diesel feeding fuel filter.
If still an issue then you have a pump issue.
If runs well you have a fuel tank . Fuel line issue.

There's also a water trap on some diesel landcruisers normally under the driver on the chassis rail as this will gum up with crap if never drained.
