Snagging list

When using tapatalk it does not seem to mark threads as read once you have read them.

and now it's showing me 700 unread PMs. :D

I had that on my tablet with the old forum.

Chris, for the love of <enter whatever you worship> don't use that bbtouch thing again. It porked something badly. (I thought it was me....)
I've disabled it for now, we can try again tomorrow....
 
Really? Been using it on the old forum most days for a couple of years. It's a std app. Well no good asking me what caused that!
No rush mate, get things done in priority order. Let me know if you want to have a go at some point.

The install rewrites some of the files. Not sure what happened but it cocked it up badly. I might have been working on the file around the same time which might have been the problem. We try again this evening.
 
I thought I had fixed those Gav. Will check again later. The board should resize the pics you upload to the max size (100x100 I think I set.)
 
It's not really a snag but I was wondering what makes a topic "hot" to get the red icon? Personally I would rather loose the hot \ not breakdown for a much more clear new posts \ not icon. I know there is one at the moment but to me it is nowhere near as clear as the hot \ not difference.
 
I don't much like the icons at the moment. I think they're all a bit close in colour. With the new style coming soon it will be a bit better. (Don't worry, everything stays where it is, just colours and icons change slightly)
Someone pointed out to me that an unread PM has an open envelope and a read PM has a closed envelope. Wrong way round?
 
Yes that was me.

I currently have 119 unread notifications all of them pm's. However they are all read and showing the open pm notification icon but the only way to reduce the notification count is for me to mark them all as unread after which I have no new notifications. So to me it seems the wrong way around.
 
Is there a way to see posts I have made? and a way to see just unread posts not all new posts. The old way when you read a post it would no longer appear on the list of unread posts.

Yes, the "Show threads from the..." was updated to force everyone to have it from "Beginning" so weird that yours was not set.
Have a look on some other sections for the same thing please.
