Great pictures Ben - been a bit lazy getting my pics to you which I will do now as we have good internet access at long last. We really enjoyed the trip with you and lexWe soon reached camp.
And Lexi had a refreshing dip in the stream.

It began to rain lightly so I set my awnings up and cooked dinner under cover.

The next morning we were woken early by the rain.
Thanks to a splash of petrol to start the fire followed by a glug of diesel to get it roaring I was soon able to cook breakfast.

We packed up camp and hit the tracks.
I had planned on driving some hard tracks on day 3 but as we had had a lot of rain neither me of Stephen felt comfortable driving those tracks in the wet.
So we changed course very slightly and instead headed over the top of Mount Skene.
Squeezed under some fallen trees.

In winter this is a popular destination for 4wders who come to play in the snow.

We dropped down to Jamison where we said our goodbyes and I headed for home.
It was a great trip and I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with Stephen and Fran and hope to catch up with them again in the future.
I look forward to following their year long adventure around South America in 2020.![]()
