Today I made a start on wiring in the fridge, i bought all the cheap bits but not the pricey items yet so I think i've done the hard bit now anyway. That grommet is a pain in the arse!!!

Feel free to point out any mistakes so far.
I got fed up looking for handles, these ones seemed inoffensive.some fancy handles and you'd never know it was homemade.
Did it turn up on Saturday Rob?Mrs Cowell arrived home yesterday with the passenger side front looking like a low-rider. And an admission it looked a bit "forward" when she set off. Hmmm.
Couldn't find an auto factor who could get a new shock til Monday. So 26 quid for a Saturday delivery from Roughtrax!
To be fair the shock looks a little worn.

Getting it off was what I believe engineers refer to as a right old ball ache. The top of the strut was seized nicely to the turret. Ended up dismantling the strut insitu so I could heat the top mount and knock it off.

Now for a cup of coffee and wait for the distant rumble of a courier's van.

All my positives and negetives are connected to the leisure battery. You'll have to have a nose soon.
What a brilliant website...... Thanks for sharing this one RosyWould love to have a casual nose round your truck, looks like you've made a lot of great progress since Lincomb! (and give you a chance to collect on that pint)
I rekon a pair of recessed flight case handles/latches would look awesome on that build.

Yeah, been looking at the weather thinking its not going to be favourable for crawling about under the chassis..... Good that the parts turned up ok. I'm very happy with RoughTrax .....It did, thank you. Only changed one side because the weather was horrible. But hey, only one side was broken. Looks like this weekend will be at least as nasty, so the other side will likely be postponed again.
New rear discs and pad all round this morning. Replaced the little rubber bellows / slider bushes as well. Freed all the pistons off. Big improvement. No brake judder now and lovely smooth braking.
Bought the Kavo discs from Roughtrax. Seem nicely made and finished. Better than the usual unbranded £20 discs that's for sure. They were laser etched with batch code info etc too.
